Her life was chaos. She kept going.

Hey Reader,

I was so proud of a client during one of the messiest seasons of her life.

Her child had developed a serious medical condition.

She was caring for them around the clock, barely sleeping, taking care of her other kids, managing all the regular adult responsibilities, and trying to hold everything together.

Her normal nutrition and fitness routines pretty much disappeared.

You know the kind of season I’m talking about.

The one where it would be incredibly easy to say:

“I’ll get back on track when things calm down.”

But she kept asking a different question:

What CAN I do right now?

Sometimes that meant eating half a Crumbl cookie instead of the whole thing.

Having 1½ slices of pizza instead of 3 or 4.

Ordering takeout and finding a meal that still gave her some protein and vegetables.

Checking in when she could.

Tiny choices.

And she kept making them.

Even during one of the hardest periods of her life, she continued taking care of herself and making progress.

I love this because THAT is the kind of consistency I want for my clients.

The kind where you don’t need life to cooperate first.

You know how to look at the day you’ve actually been handed and figure out:

“Okay. What does taking care of myself look like today?”

That idea is at the heart of the program I’m officially opening enrollment for today:

The Consistency Project.

It’s a 10-week group coaching program for time-crunched moms who know the nutrition basics but struggle to stick with them when life gets messy.

Over those 10 weeks, we’ll work on the skills that help you adjust when plans fall apart, make good-enough choices on hard days, and build consistency you can keep using long after our 10 weeks together.

And I also get to share some exciting news today. 😊

Congratulations to Shaundi from Utah, the recipient of The Consistency Project scholarship!

I loved reading the scholarship applications, and choosing just one person was genuinely difficult. I’m so excited to have Shaundi joining us.

That means 1 of the 6 spots is officially filled, and 5 spots remain.

If you’ve ever caught yourself saying…

“I KNOW what to do. I just can’t seem to keep doing it.”

…you’re exactly who I created this program for.

Enrollment is officially open here.

And whether you join us or not, here’s something I want you to try the next time life throws your routine sideways:

Instead of asking, “How do I get back on track?”

Ask:

“What CAN I do today?”

Sometimes that one question is enough to keep you moving.

Cheering you on,

P.S. If you’re wondering whether The Consistency Project would be a good fit for you, just reply to this email and tell me what you’re struggling with. I’ll give you an honest answer.

Hey Reader, Summer can scatter even your best routines. Vacations, birthday parties, barbecues, kids home from school, and schedules that seem to constantly be changing. Then September arrives, and there’s this little window between the chaos of summer and the holidays. The next 10 weeks are a chance to use that window well. You can focus on a few foundational habits, build some momentum, and head into the holiday season with solid footing underneath you. What could feel different by...

Hey Reader, When healthy only counts at 100%, you miss all the ways you could get 1% better. This morning, I gave a presentation to a group of virtual assistants, many of whom work graveyard shifts. We talked about how to make healthy choices easier when you work nights, feel tired, have kids to care for, and are being pulled in a million different directions by work, family, and all the other adulting that still has to get done. One of the tools I shared was continuum thinking. Many of us...

Hey Reader, Today’s email is specifically for those of you in or near Utah County. If that’s not you, you can sit this one out (or forward it to someone in the area who’s been talking about wanting to get stronger). I’ll be back next week with something you can use from anywhere. 😊 Strength training may have been sitting on your “I know I should…” list for months. Each time you think about starting, the same questions come up: Which exercises should I do? Is my form correct? How heavy should...
