I don’t want everyone to join my program

Hey Reader,

Please don’t go into debt to join my nutrition coaching program.

I mean that.

Coaching can be a really valuable investment in yourself, but it still has to fit within your real-life budget. If enrolling would mean falling behind on bills, carrying a credit card balance you can’t pay off, or taking money away from groceries or another basic need, now probably isn’t the right time.

I know what it’s like when the money genuinely isn’t there.

Last December, it felt like everything broke at once. We had major car repairs, had to replace our furnace and AC, and then our garage door motor quit. On top of that, it was CHRISTMAS!!

Money was VERY tight.

That would’ve been a very reasonable time for me to say, “I can’t afford coaching right now.” or my preference "I'm choosing not to spend money on that right now."

I’ve also had times when I could afford something, but I still had to decide whether it was worth the tradeoff.

I chose to pay a significant amount of money out of pocket to work with a rehab clinic I trusted to help me. Getting out of pain and back to working, training, and hiking mattered enough to me to make room for that expense.

Someone else may have made a different choice.

We each get to decide what’s worth making room for.

So if cost is what’s holding you back, here are 4 questions I’d ask yourself:

  1. Can I pay for this without going into debt or neglecting something essential?
  2. What would I need to temporarily spend less on?
  3. Would 10 weeks of coaching be worth the tradeoff if you felt more confident following through on the things that would make the biggest difference in how you feel, even when life gets busy?
  4. If I wait another 3 or 6 months, what will actually be different then?

Maybe your answer is, “A medical bill will be paid off,” or “I’ll be back at work.”

Great. Then waiting has a purpose.

If you can’t name what will change, later can keep sliding another 3 months down the calendar.

And if you’re a mom, I want you to ask yourself one more question:

Would this amount feel easier to justify if you were spending it to help one of your kids?

If so, give yourself a minute with that.

Your needs deserve a place in the family budget too.

The Consistency Project is $625, and a 2-payment option is available.

A payment plan can make the timing easier, but the total still needs to fit your budget.

Only you can decide whether now is the right time.

If you’d like the details so you can make an informed decision, just reply CONSISTENCY and I’ll send them over.

We start tomorrow, Friday!

P.S. Sharing is caring! If you know someone who could benefit from this, feel free to forward it on to them. And if you were forwarded this message, you can get on my email list too—just subscribe here. Help spread the wellness love!💛

Hey Reader, “I think accountability is the difference I need.” That’s one of the reasons women are joining The Consistency Project. Women have also told me they want help with: Enjoying holiday treats without the guilt and exhausting debate over every dessert. Staying consistent with their food habits around holidays and birthdays. Using nutrition to support their strength training and changing bodies as they approach perimenopause. Maybe you want that support, too. And you’re wondering:...

Hey Reader, I was so proud of a client during one of the messiest seasons of her life. Her child had developed a serious medical condition. She was caring for them around the clock, barely sleeping, taking care of her other kids, managing all the regular adult responsibilities, and trying to hold everything together. Her normal nutrition and fitness routines pretty much disappeared. You know the kind of season I’m talking about. The one where it would be incredibly easy to say: “I’ll get back...

Hey Reader, Summer can scatter even your best routines. Vacations, birthday parties, barbecues, kids home from school, and schedules that seem to constantly be changing. Then September arrives, and there’s this little window between the chaos of summer and the holidays. The next 10 weeks are a chance to use that window well. You can focus on a few foundational habits, build some momentum, and head into the holiday season with solid footing underneath you. What could feel different by...
